Diadema Golf Club, located on Route 16 in North Anson Maine, is often called a “hidden gem’. 40 minutes south of Sugarloaf Mountain, this public golf course features 9 holes which, utilizing 10 holes for 18-hole play. Diadema Golf Club boasts an attention to detail with its fairways and greens, thoughtfully placed ponds, strategically located obstacles. What it lacks in size for a 9 hole course, it certain makes up for it in difficulty, requiring course management and careful approach on every hole.

Diadema Golf Club also includes amenities such as practice areas complete with traps, mounds and green. A pro shop is included within, offering merchandise and equipment. A full-service restaurant open from 11am to 3pm, Wednesday to Sunday welcomes the public and golfer alike.

Lakewood Golf Course is an 18 hole par 72 course located in the upper Kennebec Valley on Route 201 in Madison, just outside of Skowhegan, Maine. Built in the early 1920’s as part of the Lakewood Colony summer resort the original nine has a classic links feel and a good balance between challenge and playability. The back nine, designed by Phil Wogan and completed in 1995, is a parkland course cut out of the thick Maine woods. Our beautiful, meticulously maintained course combines well-designed holes, including Maine’s only Par 6, with amazing scenery to give you a great golfing experience.  Nestled amongst white pines and beautiful mountain views the 6,279 yards at Lakewood is challenging and welcoming to all golfers at any skill level. Within a short drive of many local attractions including white water rafting and the Lakewood Inn and Theater, one of the area’s finest golf courses is a wonderful place to spend a peaceful afternoon enjoying the natural beauty of Maine.
